I get lots of clients who mess their hair up and they wind up having to spend a great deal of money to correct the damage to their hair. You wouldn't operate on your body if you needed surgery; so leave your haircare to your hairstylist. Remember that if you're moving to another city - ask your hairdresser for your color formula. Make sure you get the name of the manufacturer of the products you've been using, the exact formula that includes the peroxide percentage and the name and quantity of the color used. Stress that you would like the precise formula so that when you move you can recreate the great color work that you've been satisfied with presently. Don't forget the timing for the processing and any additional information to help your new colorist. Taking the time to do this will save you and your new stylist time.
